Manchester Police SWAT Standoff Ends With Three Taken Into Custody

Officers urged the people to come out by using a loudspeaker. After hours, a police K-9 was used. One suspect suffered dog bites.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police SWAT surrounded a building on Merrimack Street Thursday morning and ordered several people to exit the multi-unit apartment building.

Police used a loudspeaker and announced the names of three people to exit. None of the occupants complied at that time, so police launched a drone for surveillance over the house and brought a K-9 to the residence. The residence's front door could be lying on the ground from police breaching the door.

Police continued to issue commands for the occupants to exit. After more than an hour, a man and woman exited the residence. The two were searched, placed in handcuffs, and transported from the scene. It is unknown if they face charges.
