  1. There was another shooting in Manchester. Police are asking for the public's help and are seeking tips after a man was shot Saturday night inside of Cheers and Beers on Elm Street in Manchester. Police said the man was shot during an argument just before midnight. According to Lt. Matthew Barter, the victim was taken later to the hospital with serious injuries. (Bedford Patch)
  2. Stopping the spread of COVID-19: This past week, Bedford schools had an outbreak of COVID-19 clusters with several students getting sick. Bedford High School reinstated a mask requirement to help stop the spread of the virus, despite some parent pushback. Some schools are saying they don't have adequate access to testing for students to help lessen the spread of the virus. (New Hampshire Public Radio)
  3. If you were wondering when Pfizer booster shots will be available in New Hampshire, health providers said they will start offering booster shots in the coming days. The Department of Health and Human Services released a health alert outlining CDC's guidelines, and Walgreens announced they will start booking booster appointments for the Pfizer vaccine as soon as Saturday for people who meet the guidelines. Recommendations for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster shots have not been released yet. (WMUR)

In a Bedford conference room on a recent Friday, a panel of judges listened to presentations from the top 10 finalists for the NH Tech Alliance’s Product of the Year competition that aim to disrupt industries and save lives through innovations in technology. The panel of judges included Lisa Bruinooge King, who co-chairs the committee, and was made up of three entrepreneurs, a finance expert, and a journalist. The competition was steep this year, with nearly two dozen applicants — the most since the competition began in 2006. (The Union Leader)
  5. In high school football on Saturday, Goffstown topped Bedford 28-7. After not playing for two weeks after two opponents canceled for reasons related to COVID-19, Goffstown returned to the field and won. Goffstown coach Nick Hammond said they did not waste the two weeks and that practice helped. (The Union Leader)
