Manchester Teen Named Miss New Hampshire

A Manchester high school student was named Miss New Hampshire on Saturday night.

BEDFORD, NH - A Manchester high school student was named Miss New Hampshire on Saturday night. The win comes after Marisa Moorhouse, 18, won the Miss Manchester earlier in the year and moved on to the state competition, the Union Leader reported.

"There's so many things going through my head right now. I honestly don't even know where to start," Moorhouse said. "I have been dreaming of this day ever since I was a little girl, ever since I first watched the Miss America Pageant on TV."

First runner-up was Miss Greater Derry Sarah Tubbs. Second runner-up was Miss Portsmouth Area Delaney Mastin.Third runner-up was Miss Berlin-Gorham Josie Pearce. Fourth runner-up was Miss Merrimack Brooke Mills.Moorhouse is a dancer and competed using the song "To Where You Are" by Josh Groban. Her platform is "Moving the World One Dance at a Time."
