New Data Released: Top Baby Names in New Hampshire for 2015

What were the most popular baby names in New Hampshire in 2015? There's a first-time winner for boys, and a familiar name for girls.

Andrew Jackson might not be the future face of the one dollar bill, but the former president's surname will live on in a healthy crop of New Hampshire newborns.

Jackson was the top baby name for boys in the state in 2015, according to information released by the Social Security Administration Friday.

For girls, the favorite last year in New Hampshire was Olivia, a name that came in second nationwide to Emma.

This is the first time Jackson has topped the list in the Granite State. For Olivia, it's the second year in a row the name has held the top spot for girls on the New Hampshire charts.
