  1. We're proud that so many New Hampshire runners were among the top finishers in the Boston Marathon on Monday. Jennifer Mortimer, of Bedford, finished with an impressive time of 3:04:48, and Ashley Busa, of Portsmouth, finished in 3:08:34. The top New Hampshire female runner in the women's race was Emilee Risteen of Derry, who finished 42nd with a time of 2:41:44. "Emilee was hoping to qualify for the USA Olympic marathon trials, which requires a run of 2:37:00." Congratulations to our amazing New Hampshire runners!. (WMUR Manchester)
  2. All adults are invited to have fun playing cards and board games at The Game Club on Wednesday, April 19 from 6:30—8:15 p.m. in the McAllaster Room of the Bedford Public Library. The cost for the Earth Day event is $20 per family, and only ONE ticket is needed for the entire family. "Meet Miss Jen at the farm stand!" All children must be accompanied by a guardian.
