2. If you are thinking about traveling to Northern Vermont, you may want to stop by the birdhouse forest. A small island on Lake Champlain is home to a mysterious forest of colorful birdhouses in a forest swamp in the town of South Hero on Grand Isle. Almost 800 birdhouses of all colors can be spotted in the grove of trees, providing homes for the local swallow population. These entertaining birds are loved for many reasons, but what residents value most is that they naturally help control the mosquito population. 3. An advanced laser has been developed by BOLD Laser Automation in Bedford. The company said that their new laser trimming platform is highly customizable and can be used to manufacture precision sensors for the medical, aerospace, and commercial markets.
