NH Gaming Director Wants to End Charitable Gaming Fees
Part of the state-level talks about gambling and a new casino include a special emphasis on refining and separating charitable gaming regulations.

The New Hampshire Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority is expected to review draft legislation Friday that could potentially eliminate the charitable gaming fees that commercial operators are charging local charities, according to the Associated Press.
The Associated Press has reported that Paul Kelley, the state's racing and charitable gaming director, also wants to put an end to these fees because they cut into the charities' 35 share of the gaming profits.
Southern New Hampshire has multiple charitable gaming establishments, including Rockingham Park in Salem, Manch Vegas Poker Room in Manchester and The River Card Room in Milford.
