NH State Police Aiding in Sandy Relief Efforts
Gov. Lynch deploys state police to New Jersey.

Twelve New Hampshire State Police Troopers, this week, have deployed to New Jersey to aid in Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and law enforcement duties.
The group, led by Field Operations Bureau Commander Major Russell Conte, under a directive from Gov. John Lynch, left for the Garden State on Saturday for an eight-day effort.
"Hurricane Sandy had a devastating impact on parts of New Jersey and the recovery efforts there are ongoing. New Hampshire is pleased to be able to answer the request for assistance in supporting those efforts," said Lynch. "We appreciate the members of the State Police who will be traveling to the state to provide assistance."
