NH Teen Accused Of Flashing BB Gun During Road Rage Incident
Joseph Gilman was arrested by Manchester police after an accident Tuesday which is reported to be the result of a road rage incident.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police responded to Maple and Merrimack Streets Tuesday morning for a motor vehicle accident.
According to Heather Hamel, the department's public information officer, after an investigation of the accident, it appeared to have been caused as a result of a road rage incident at Union and Merrimack streets.
Hamel said, "It was reported that one driver pulled out a gun, which turned out to be a BB gun and pointed it at the other driver. The victim tried to drive away, accelerating quickly, and accidently hit another vehicle. The vehicle that was hit hadn’t been involved in the previous altercation. There were no resulting injuries."

Police reported the suspect dropped the BB gun and fled, but police were able to track him down.
He was identified as Joseph Gilman, 18. of Manchester. He was charged with criminal threatening.

Gilman is being held and will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.
