No Left Turns from Olde Bedford Way?

The Bedford Town Council holds a public hearing Wednesday on a proposal that would prohibit left-hand turns from Olde Bedford Way onto Route 101 going eastbound. This is the road leading from the Bedford Village Inn and vicinity.

The council meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at 10 Meetinghouse Road.

The town ordinance in question is 262–3, "Prohibition of Left Turns." The ordinance now reads: "Left-hand turns are prohibited at all times from Upjohn Street onto South River Road heading South."
