1. Santa Claus is coming to town! Get a picture with Santa at the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 5 p.m. (But don't be late!) Santa and Mrs. Claus will be leaving promptly at 6 p.m. "Cozy up to the fire" and bring an ornament if you'd like to join in the tree lighting. You can also bring a new, unwrapped present to support the Bedford Police Department's Toys for Tots toy drive. The event will also have food trucks and face painting. 2. A Winter Storm Watch issued by the National Weather Service for our area ends Saturday at 10 a.m. Expect 1 to 2 inches of snow early Saturday morning, then it will be cloudy with a high of 42.
