Suspect Apprehended After Shelter In Place In Bedford

BEDFORD, NH - On August 3, 2020 around 8:15 pm Bedford Police were notified that a suspect who was wanted in connection to a series of crimes in Manchester, NH was at the Dunkin Donuts on South River Rd in Bedford. Police responded and the suspect fled the area, but a female who he was reported to be with remained on scene.
Bedford Police last had a sighting of him running towards the Manchester Country Club. BPD began to set up a perimeter in the area, and requested the assistance of other police departments, and the NH State Police.

A Command post was set up on Executive Drive where members of the Southern NH Special Operations Unit assembled, and were briefed on the situation. While units coordinated on Executive Drive several cruisers were setting up a perimeter in a large area.
Bedford Police issued a “Shelter In Place” and notified residents of police activity in the area.

At approx 10:30 pm a Bedford Police officer located the suspect on the property of New Morning School on Back River Rd. A large number group of officers flooded the area, and the suspect was taken into custody.
The suspect was transported to Bedford Police for booking, and then will be transferred to Manchester on the warrants which were issued for the incidents which took place beginning at 3:45 am Monday morning.
