Manchester Cops Search Home Of Man Found Buried In Methuen
Detectives are on Pasture Drive searching the residence of Zakhia Charabaty who had been missing since March.
MANCHESTER, NH — Detectives from the Manchester Police Department were at the residence of Zakhia and Flavia Charabaty searching the home Thursday.
According to neighbors, the police arrived at the house at approximately 10:30 a.m. with detectives in a passenger car and an officer driving the departments "incident response" vehicle which is commonly used to gather and process evidence.
Neighbors said the memorial services for Zakhia Charabaty were recently held after his remains were found by the FBI in a search in Methuen, Massachusetts. The search in Methuen was done by the FBI Evidence Response Team, and several law enforcement agencies including Manchester police.

Zakhia Charabaty went missing in March and was reported missing by relatives. It is reported he and his vehicle were last seen in the area of the Pasture Drive residence on the West Side of Manchester. Neighbors and customers have spoken highly of Zakhia, and how he was a hard working man. He serviced multiple grocery stores with products from Cedar’s Humus.
Flavia Charabety married Zakhia in January — just months before he went missing. Neighbors said she has been living in the house since Zakhia went missing and Thursday, she watched from a vehicle up the street while detectives entered the house.

It is unknown what the detectives are doing inside the residence. However, they were seen carrying a large roll of brown paper which is usually used to protect the integrity of evidence gathered at an investigation.
Late in the afternoon detectives remained on scene at the Pasture Drive residence.
