As the Meetinghouse Road project progresses in it's sixth phase, portions of the the street and roads around it will be closed today and tomorrow between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
According to the Bedford Department of Public Works, the contractor in charge of the project is scheduled to pave the wearing course of asphalt on Pinewood Drive and Cobbler Lane today.
The contractor is then expected to pave Mayflower Lane tomorrow before moving onto Meetinghouse Road beginning at the Route 101 intersection and proceeding east to Mayflower Lane.

If time permits, Patten Road, from Matthew Patten to Meetinghouse Road, will also be paved.
Drivers should expect road detours and significant delays and are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
