Queen City Teen Accused Of Wrong-Way Drunken Driving On Route 101 — From Raymond To Candia
Savannah Leigh McClaughry-Bertelsen was arrested on several charges Saturday after being accused of driving west in the eastbound lane.

MANCHESTER, NH — A teen from Manchester was arrested on several charges after being accused of wrong-way drunken driving on Route 101, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Around 3:15 a.m., state police dispatch received reports of a possible wrong-way driver, traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Route 101 in Raymond. Troopers found the vehicle — a 2009 Honda Civic, in the high-speed lane in Candia. The driver was stopped in the area of Mile Marker 64.6, a report said.

The driver, Savannah Leigh McClaughry-Bertelsen, 18, of Manchester, was arrested on aggravated driving under the influence, reckless conduct, reckless operation, DUI, transportation of alcohol beverages by a minor, and open container charges. She was held in protective custody and released later on personal recognizance. McClaughry-Bertelsen is due in Candia District Court Nov. 17 for arraignment.
State police said Route 101 east was closed for a short period of time during the investigation.
