Riots In Manchester Promoted On Social Media Leads To Preparation
A social media post which promoted chaos and violence in Manchester was removed and an arrest made — but authorities are still concerned.
Manchester, NH — Manchester is taking steps to prepare for potential protests and riots which were promoted on social media.
A 19-year-old from Ashland was arrested for the original post which has since been removed. A large number of people are still appearing to join together in two locations in Manchester. Also, a large number of counter-protesters is also anticipated.
Sources tell me approximately 200 New Hampshire National Guard troops are on standby in in the Queen City. Also, multiple law enforcement agencies have been coordinated by Manchester police as well as New Hampshire State Police.

Manchester police headquarters at Valley Street was surrounded by concrete barriers Tuesday. National Guard buses and equipment are lined up at the Armory on Canal Street. “A” market, a grocery store near one of the locations of the potential protest, boarded up their windows.
A single person was seen holding a sign on South Willow Street promoting peace in Manchester Tuesday, too.
