No Serious Injuries in Crash That Closed Route 101
A tractor trailer reportedly collided head-on with another vehicle.
UPDATE: No one was seriously injured in a head-on crash on Route 101 on Sunday night.
According to Bedford Police, at 9:38 p.m., Bedford Police and Fire responded to the scene of a collision in the area of 276 Route 101. The collision involved a Honda Accord and a tractor trailer unit that struck head on. The operator of the Honda was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The operator of the truck appeared uninjured.
Officers had to close Route 101 between Jenkins and Wallace roads for approximately 2-1/2 hours to investigate and clear the roadway. The collision remains under investigation at this time. It does not appear that speed or alcohol are factors.
