- The Saint-Gobain Plastics Plant has a Public Hearing scheduled for Wednesday, June 21 at 6 p.m., at the Merrimack High School Little Theatre, 38 McElwain Street, Merrimack, New Hampshire for a "State Permit to Operate." The applications and draft permit submitted to the Director of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Air Resources Division (Director) are available for review. - Rep. Dan Hynes of Bedford left the GOP party of the New Hampshire House of Representatives to become an "independent" member after the GOP supported the controversial parental rights bill and opposed legalizing marijuana. It's the "second straight week" a lawmaker has left the party. On his Facebook page, Hynes said, "It is clear they are out of touch with the overwhelming majority of their constituents, and that they do not respect or advocate for personal freedom."
