The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch through 8 pm. for Hillsborough County.

Here's your weather outlook through Tuesday (ending as always on a Sunny note.)

  • Sunday afternoon: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be severe, with large hail and damaging winds. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind around 11 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 3am, then isolated showers after 4am. Some storms could be severe, with large hail and damaging winds. Increasing clouds, with a low around 63. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
  • Monday: Scattered showers, mainly after 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. West wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Monday Night: Isolated showers before 9pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 49. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind 8 to 16 mph.
