Shooting On Busy Elm Street In Manchester Under Investigation
Manchester police are investigating a call for a shooting on Elm Street. Police do not believe any people were hit or injured.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police responded to Elm Street near Prospect for shots fired at 8:54 a.m. Saturday. MPD shut down a section of Elm Street while searching for ballistic evidence, and documenting the scene.
MPD issued a press release stating they were investigating a shooting and it did not appear any people were injured in the incident.
According to sources, Granite State Credit Union, which is directly across from where the shooting occurred, has video evidence to assist the police. Also, information was gathered that a “Be on the lookout” was issued for a white Acura which may have been involved.

Police appeared to be concentrating on an area that had a broken window, but it is unknown if it was involved in the shooting.
The area where the shooting occurred has several apartments with children in them.
