Star Student Athlete: Lindsey From Bedford Excels At Volleyball

BEDFORD, NH — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

I'm nominating Lindsey Healey to be recognized as a student athlete. Lindsey is an outstanding achiever in her chosen sport, Volleyball. She is a junior co-captian of Bedford High School's girls varsity volleyball team. The team finished the regular season with an undefeated record and is now headed to the playoffs.

Lindsey is a tremendous all-around player and one of the team leaders in offensive kills. As one of three team captains, she has an important leadership role in keeping her teammates fired up for the competition.

During the club season, Lindsey plays with a local club team that travels nationally for competition. In the classroom, Lindsey works hard to maintain an outstanding GPA.

Finally, Lindsey is active in the community as a long-time member of a mother-daughter community service organization called the National Charity League.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

Lindsey is an intensely competitive person but consistently balances her competitive spirit with kind words and encouragement for her teammates.
