Winds Knock Over Light Post, Trees in Bedford
High-wind advisory in effect through 6 p.m.
Bedford Police, today, have issued a warning to all residents to remain cautious and drive safely due to high winds that have already knocked down trees and a light pole in town.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a high-wind advisory in effect though 6 p.m. Thursday, and the possibility exists throughout the day that more trees may come down, potentially knocking down power lines and other wires and obstructing roadways.
Anyone witnessing or coming across any such hazardous conditions is encouraged avoid contact with downed wires and to contact Bedford Police at 472-5113.

Currently there is a tree down blocking Liberty Hill Road at Route 101 and a light post is down on South River Road in front of Woodbury Court, where the Purple Finch Cafe and Chen Yang Li are located (across from Macy's.
According to a PSNH power outage map, 10 households are currently without power.
