Suspicious Death In Manchester Under Investigation

Fire, EMS and Manchester police were dispatched to Brockton Street for a person with a gunshot wound.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Fire, AMR ambulance, and Manchester police responded to Brockton Street for a person with a gunshot wound. Police secured the scene, and fire and EMS made entry to the scene and requested a second ambulance for a gunshot wound. According to the radio transmission, one person was deceased at the scene.

A short time after the initial call MPD issued a press release stating they were investigating a shooting.

The NH Attorney General at 10:40 p.m. issued a statement which read "Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that officials are responding to a suspicious death on Brockton Street, in Manchester, New Hampshire. At this time, it does not appear that this was a random incident and there is no danger to the public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available."

A large police presence remains at the scene. Two houses are surrounded by crime scene tape and MPD officers remain outside of the two houses.
