Things Getting Spooky this Week in Bedford

Here are five things you should most definitely know this week in Bedford!

A weekend full of Halloween fun begins ... 

1. The "Not So Scary Halloween" event to benefit "Our Promise to Nicholas.
" The charitable event, being held from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at the at NH Sportsplex, will feature bounce houses, movie showings, balloon creations, laser tag, pizza, beverages, a DJ, face painting and many more fun activities. 2. The next day ... enjoy a "Halloween Spook-tacular,", at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Bedford Village Common Park (Town Hall if raining). The event, open to children 8 and under, features fun Halloween activities such as a flashlight candy hunt in the park. Children are encouraged to arrive dressed in costume and to bring their own flashlights. Refreshments will also be served and Judy Pancoast will provide spooky entertainment with a free children's concert. Those who attend are encouraged to bring one bag of wrapped candy to donate to the candy hunt.

3. And don't forget ... Ross A. Lurgio School's 4th-annual Witch Way to the 5K and KidsK to be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. It's not too late to sign up! Get full details here.

4. The weatherman says ... Temperatures dip as the week goes on, but today's forecasted high of 66 degrees brings with it clear skies and a 0-percent chance of rain. the overnight low is 44 degrees.
