Town Manager to Present Budget Recommendation Tonight
Here are six things you should know today in Bedford.
1. On the agenda. Among items on tonight's agenda, when Bedford Town Councilors gather for a 7 p.m. meeting at the BCTV Bedford Town Meeting Room, town manager Jessie Levine will present her budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year. There will also be a public hearing on the discontinuance of Charles Place.
2. The weatherman says ... Temperatures drop to the low 50s today with a 50-percent chance of rain during the day and a 30-percent chance in the evening. The overnight low is forecasted at 34 degrees.
3. "Not So Scary Halloween" event to benefit "Our Promise to Nicholas." The charitable event, being held from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at the at NH Sportsplex, will feature bounce houses, movie showings, balloon creations, laser tag, pizza, beverages, a DJ, face painting and many more fun activities.
