Bedford officials have announced the fall cleanup of the town cemetery grounds will begin sometime after Nov. 11.
Healthy and vibrant flowers and/or plants will remain at gravestones at Joppa Hill Cemetery, Old Bedford Cemetery, Bedford Center Cemetery and Beals Road Cemetery, but maintenance crews will remove any dead floral arrangements and shrubbery will be removed by the maintenance crew.
Ceramic, granite and thick Rubbermaid-type plastic container will also remain at the grave sites, but any thin plastic containers will be removed if they contain dead flowers and/or plants.
