  1. Trader Joe's is recalling cookies that may contain rocks. "Please do not eat them," the company said on its website. The recalled products are Trader Joe’s Almond Windmill Cookies with a sell by date of Oct. 19- Oct. 21, 2023 ((SKU# 98744) and Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with a sell by date of Oct. 17-Oct. 21, 2023 (SKU# 82752). The supplier alerted Trader Joe's about the problem and Trader Joe's apologized to customers.   2. A shoutout to Bedford Sen. Denise Ricciardi who was chosen for the national leadership development program for government officials. She will join 47 "outstanding state leaders" from 29 states all over the nation for the 2023 CSG Henry Toll Fellowship program.
