Two Arrested After Being Pulled Over in Stolen Vehicle

Charges also levied for possession of controlled drugs and driving with a suspended license.

Just after midnight Thursday morning, Bedford Police officers, conducting a routine motor vehicle stop on South River Road, near Hull Lane, quickly discovered the stopped vehicle had been reported stolen from Lowell, Mass.

The occupants of the vehicle, 30-year-old Alesandra Castro and 28-year-old Ashley Dallaire, both of Lowell, were arrested on scene and processed at the Bedford Police Department. Each was also found to be in possession of controlled drugs.

Castro was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of controlled drugs and driving with a suspended license.  He was held at the Hillsborough County Jail on $10,000 cash bail and was arraigned Feb. 7 at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack.

Likewise, Dallaire was arrested on a bench warrant and also charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled drug. She was held at the Hillsborough County Jail on $3,000 cash bail and was also arraigned on Feb. 7 at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack.
