
A short time after 7 p.m. last night, two pedestrians were trapped between the rear of a car and the side of a large pickup truck in the parking lot of Shorty's Mexican Roadhouse.
According to a press release from the Bedford Police Department, the collision involved three vehicles and the aforementioned pedestrians who needed to be extracted by Bedford Fire and Rescue.
Both were transported to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries and trauma teams were prepped for their arrival.

Sgt. Devon Kimball told WMUR-TV that the injuries are potentially serious to the legs and abdomen of the two people who were struck.
The operator of the vehicle that initiated the accident was identified as Dianne Sollecito, 61, of Hollis.

The Bedford Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team was activated and is currently investigating the collision.
Kimball told WMUR that alcohol was not immediately ruled out as a contributing factor.
