Vehicle Crashes Into Bedford Toll Plaza, Woman Transported From The Scene

The vehicle traveling northbound on the F.E. Everett Turnpike struck the concrete barrier in the lane occupied by a toll attendant.

BEDFORD, NH — A vehicle traveling northbound on Sunday morning on the F.E. Everett Turnpike struck the cement barrier in one of the lanes occupied by a toll worker.

A woman, for unknown reasons, crashed into the barrier at about 9 a.m. and appeared to be possibly experiencing a medical emergency. NH State Police, Bedford Fire, and Merrimack Fire responded to the scene. Merrimack EMTs were cancelled after the incident was quickly brought under control.

The woman, the only occupant of the car, was removed via the passenger’s side of the car and transported to a local hospital by Bedford Fire.

The toll plaza worker was not injured in the incident.

According to radio transmissions, the vehicle is registered to someone in Nashua.
