  2. A shoutout to Kindness Coffee of Bedford. Our local coffee shop is one of several businesses participating in the Respect Program fundraiser for Ella's Way, a North Andover nonprofit that spreads a message of kindness and empathy for accepting and including everyone, regardless of disability or if they are different. E.L.L.A. stands for Early Learning Leads to Acceptance. Ella's Way authors write books for children to help promote understanding and empathy. Thirty-one-year-old Danielle Bennis of Manchester, who was born with spina bifida, has praise for Ella's Way and its mission: "I feel it’s good to include everyone no matter who they are," she said. 3. When do grandparents and local heroes have free admission at Story Land? It's not Labor Day weekend, but if you can wait a week to plan your family trip just 2 hours, 7 minutes north of Bedford to visit the kid's theme park in Glen, New Hampshire, grandparents have free admission on Sunday, Sept. 10 (one grandparent per paid admission). Also, if you are a season pass-holder, you can bring a grandparent in for free Sept. 10. On Sundays, Sept. 17, 24, and Oct. 1, Story Land is also honoring first responders and those who serve with free admission. Local heroes include anyone in law enforcement, EMTs, medical professionals, firefighters, or the military with a valid ID. Thank you, Story Land! (92moose.fm)
