What's Open and Closed in Bedford on Christmas?

t's hard to believe that Christmas is here, but it is!

Here's a look at what is open and closed for the holiday.

Grocery Stores:

Need some last-minute Christmas items? Burn the turkey and need to start over (don't do that!), both Bedford Hannaford locations, Harvest Market and Stop & Shop will be open for abbreviated hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m on Christmas Eve, but will be closed Christmas day.

Bedford Public Library:

The Bedford Public Library will close at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24 and remain closed for Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 25. The library will be open regular hours , 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Bedford Town Offices:

The Town Offices will be closed on Christmas Day.

Bedford Post Office:

The U.S. Post Office is open for normal business hours, until 5 p.m., on Christmas Eve but will be closed for the day on Christmas.

Transfer Station:

The Bedford Transfer Station will be closed Christmas.
