Here are the top stories today in Bedford:

  1. June is strawberry season in New Hampshire! You will find native strawberries from mid-June through mid-July at local farms. Amazingly, strawberry season only lasts a few weeks. You can pick fresh strawberries nearby at Devreindt Farms in Goffstown and J & F Farms in Derry. See the full list of local strawberry patches here: (New Hampshire Magazine)
  2. Have you seen this woman? Bedford police are asking for help to identify a woman allegedly involved in the theft of a customer's wallet at Panera Bread in Bedford on May 12. A person behind the woman in line reached into her purse to steal her wallet, then used the credit cards to fraudulently purchase thousands of dollars of items at the Apple Store at the Mall of New Hampshire, police said. See the surveillance pictures here: (Bedford NH Police Department via Facebook)
  3. Study for exams at the Bedford Public Library on Tuesday, June 6 and take a break to relax and play with Willow, a therapy dog. Willow will be visiting the library from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. to give students ages 12 and up a chance to study and take a break from their work. No registration is required.
