Woman Accused Of Repeatedly Stabbing Man In Manchester Building

Concord woman accused of stabbing a 72-year-old Manchester man previously charged with the attempted murder of her boyfriend

MANCHESTER, NH - On October 24, 2020 at approximately 8pm Manchester Police, fire and EMS responded to a Chestnut St hi-rise apartment building for a report of two people suffering from stab wounds.

MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said MPD "through their investigation,learned that this was a domestic incident, in which a 51-year-old woman stabbed a 72-year old man. The woman also suffered injuries, but it was determined that her injuries were self-inflicted."

The man was stabbed multiple times and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The woman was identified as Carrie Drake of Concord. Drake was charged with First Degree Assault in the Manchester stabbing.

Drake was transported directly from the scene to a medical facility where she remains according to MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel.
