2 Killed In NH July 4 Crash
Belmont, New Hampshire, police said two people were killed and two more were injured in a crash on Route 106.

BELMONT, NH — Police said two people were killed in a crash in Belmont July 4. Police told WMUR a driver on Route 106 veered into the opposite lane of traffic and collided with two vehicles at about 6:30 p.m. Two others were injured, according to WMUR.
Belmont police said a male black Labrador dog was also involved in the crash and transported to a local veterinarian. The dog was seriously injured.
"It is not known is he was ejected from a vehicle or if he was struck as a result of the crash itself," Belmont police said in a statement. Police said they are looking for the dog's owner.

Belmont is in the Lakes Region just south of Laconia.
