BELMONT, NH — Police said two people were killed in <a href="http://www.wmur.com/article/rescue-dogs-saved-by-teen-cancer-patient/22061985" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">a crash in Belmont July 4</a>. Police told WMUR a driver on Route 106 veered into the opposite lane of traffic and collided with two vehicles at about 6:30 p.m. Two others were injured, according to WMUR.Belmont police said a male black Labrador dog was also involved in the crash and transported to a local veterinarian. The dog was seriously injured."It is not known is he was ejected from a vehicle or if he was struck as a result of the crash itself," Belmont police said in a statement. Police said they are looking for the dog's owner.
