Concord Firefighters Extinguish Burning Camper At Homeless Camp Off Integra Drive: Video (patch.com) — Concord firefighters quickly knocked down a burning 30-foot camper at a homeless camp deep in the woods off Integra Drive, after callers reported a large column of black smoke over Concord Heights. Crews used a forestry line and nearby hydrant, confirmed no one was inside, and also recently handled a smaller shopping cart fire at a homeless camp near Granite Place.
   

2. New lights on youth soccer pitch signal bright future for Keach Park (concordmonitor.com) — New field lights are going up at Keach Park, giving Concord’s Heights neighborhood its only lit athletic field besides Memorial Field and extending evening play for youth soccer by next summer. After seven years of advocacy from Change for Concord, the city approved a youth-sized illuminated pitch that can host seven-on-seven games, with rentals planned weeknights from dusk to 10 p.m.
   

3. Hooksett man indicted for alleged threats targeting Gov. Ayotte (inklink.news) — A Merrimack County grand jury in Concord has indicted a 22-year-old Hooksett resident on multiple felony charges tied to alleged threats against Gov. Kelly Ayotte this past August. The defendant remains held on preventative detention, with a dispositional conference scheduled at Merrimack County Superior Court on January 8, 2026. All charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
