209 Cases Of Food Delivered To Capital Region Pantries

Eleven organizations in Concord, surrounding communities received nonperishables from the Capital Region Food Program on Tuesday.

CONCORD, NH — More than 200 cases of food were delivered to area organizations on Tuesday by the Capital Region Food Program.

Eleven pantries, churches, and other agencies received 209 cases with nonperishable food as part of the year-round distribution project. The food included peanut butter, cereals, pasta, soups, and canned fruit and vegetables.

In the latest delivery, the organizations receiving the food included the CenterPoint Church Food Pantry, the Christ the King Food Pantry, Concord Housing Authority, the Friends of Forgotten Children, the Gospel Light Food Pantry, Merrimack Valley Day Care, the Open Door Community Church, the Salvation Army, the St Paul’s Church Food Pantry, Suncook CAP, and the Undercover Pantry.
