'Amazing' Concord Mom Takes Care Of Her Family, Gives Back To Veterans

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is selfless, helps her kids, grandkids and family whenever she can. She gives 40+ hours of weeks at the NH veterans home taking care of the heroes who fought for our country, and still has time to give to her family! She is devoted and helpful! Strong and fun! She lost her own mother last July, so this is her first Mother’s Day without her mom, who she took care of for years as well as everything else! She has two kids, one son-in-law and three grandkids!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Because she is amazing!
