Aroma Joe’s Celebrates ‘BeanAversary’ With Free Coffee Thursday
The company was founded in 2000 in East Rochester, New Hampshire. Its proprietary blends only use Rainforest Alliance-certified beans.

SCARBOROUGH, ME — Aroma Joe’s is celebrating 25 years in business by giving away a free 16-ounce hot or iced coffee on Jan. 16 at participating locations in the Northeast and Florida.
The company was founded in 2000 in East Rochester, New Hampshire.
The company is also celebrating its “BeanAversary” — six years ago, it committed to only using Rainforest Alliance Certified beans in its proprietary bean blends. The beans, the company said, are sustainably grown, ethically sourced, and craft-roasted to deliver rich, smooth, and delicious coffee and espresso beverages.

Four years ago, the company created the Honduras Coffee Farmers Group to secure its proprietary standards and pay coffee growers more money. In 2023, more than $65,000 was given back to farmers in an effort to improve their standards of living and farming practices and fund a higher-elevation milling station to decrease the distances farmers travel to get to work.
Employees will travel to Honduras this week to meet with dozens of farmers involved with the group.

“As we continue our rapid growth,” Dave Tucci, Aroma Joe’s president, said, “we have never lost sight of the importance of our coffee farmers and the amazing communities we are proud to serve and support. We also want to encourage new customers to experience the Aroma Joe’s difference.”
Tucci said the annual visit to company coffee farmers has become one of my favorite experiences, “as I meet first-hand with the farmers who have become true partners in our dedication to sourcing only the very best beans. Happy BeanAversary!”
