Why are you seeking elective office?
My goal for the past two years has been to make NH government work for everyone, not just the few.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Additional state funding for our local school districts. I will continue to fight for state budgets that provide all local schools with the resources needed to provide a comprehensive education for all students
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My position on educational funding is opposed by my opponents. I was a co-sponsor in the past session of the bill to raise NH minimum wage to $15 per hour. While this bill passed the House it was opposed by almost every Republican.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Incumbent
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
Additional support for our college and university system, establish a meaningful Family Medical leave plan, insure a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her reproductive alternatives.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Co-sponsor of successful bill to give a cost of living increase to retired state workers.
Supported bill to cap insulin costs at $15 per month
Supported state budget that sent $5.2 million above the Governor’s original proposal to Concord/Penacook for school and municipal costs
The best advice ever shared with me was …
Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living-Mother Jones
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I would like to continue to be a voice for workers, children and families.
