Boy On A Bike Injured During Crash, Taken To Concord Hospital With Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

Concord police had parts of West and South State streets closed after a driver in a crossover and a bicyclist collided on Thursday morning.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a crash involving a bike in the city’s South End on Thursday morning.

Just before 8:15 a.m., police were sent to the intersection of West and South State streets for a report of a crash. When they arrived, they found the driver of a crossover, a woman in her late 50s, collided with a bicyclist, a boy, who was 16.

“The woman was uninjured, while the bicyclist was transported to the hospital by Concord Fire with non-life-threatening injuries,” Deputy Chief Barrett Moulton of the Concord Police Department said. “Officers continue to investigate the crash and are speaking with witnesses.”

The roadway was reopened around 10 a.m.
