Concord Could Break Record Of Summer Days Above 90 Degrees: NWS
The Concord area's current record of most days at above or 90 degrees was set in 1955.
CONCORD, NH — Concord could be on track to break a heat record set 65 years ago: 26 summer days with temperatures at or above 90 degrees.
Including Tuesday, the region has already seen 19 days with temperatures at or above 90 degrees during the meteorological summer, National Weather Service meteorologist Michael Clair told Patch.
With three weeks left in the summer — which the NWS considers to be the months of June, July and August — it's possible the region could surpass the standing record set in 1955.
