Concord Man Told CIA He Will Shoot NH Gov. Sununu: Police
Police said Brian Roberts, of Concord, was arrested after sending a message to the CIA threatening to shoot Gov. Chris Sununu.

CONCORD, NH -- A Concord man was arrested this week and accused of sending a message to the Central Intelligence Agency threatening to shoot New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu. Brian Roberts, 38, was arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal threatening. Concord police, the FBI and the CIA investigated the case.
New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said Roberts was accused of sending the message Nov. 30.
"Mr. Roberts stated, 'Going to shoot Gov state of NH no matter what,'" New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said in a statement.

Roberts was also accused of making "statements which expressed hatred toward the Jewish community," MacDonald said.
MacDonald said Roberts is being investigated for possible violations of the Civil Rights Act.
