CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
What makes my mom extra special is everything she does for me — [she] takes me to dance several days a week, makes me food, cares for me and everything I could imagine. My mom is truly such an inspiring soul —kind and helpful and understanding. Even though we have our ups and downs, I love her endlessly.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Our moms do so much for us, drive us places, pick us up, work so they can provide for us — they are truly amazing people. I feel my mom deserves this because of everything that has happened lately ... I feel like she deserves this more the anything.
