Concord Police: Man Reaches For Officer's Gun
Concord police said Sean Blanchard bit an officer and reached for another officer's gun.

CONCORD, NH — A Loudon man was charged with a host of crimes after police said he bit a Concord police officer and tried to grab another officer's gun. Sean Blanchard, 39, was arrested in Loudon Friday at about 4 a.m.
Concord police Detective Sergeant Robert Buelte said officers were called to assist Loudon police after they found Blanchard lying in his under in the middle of Route 106.
"Mr. Blanchard was combative," Buelte said in a statement. "Mr. Blanchard fought with responding officers and at one point attempted to take an officer’s handgun. Mr. Blanchard also bit one of the responding Officer’s arm."

Officers then tasered Blanchard and took him into custody. He was charged with taking a firearm from a law enforcement officer, criminal threatening, two counts of resisting arrest, three counts of assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct. He was held on $25,000 bail.
