Concord Regional Crimeline Seeks Witnesses After Pickup Trucks Crash On Clinton Street: Follow-Up

A driver was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash on July 3.

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Regional Crimeline is asking for the public’s help concerning a two-vehicle accident at Clinton Street and Interstate 89 on July 3.

Around 11:30 a.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the interchange after receiving notification from Hillsboro EMTs that there was a crash between two pickup trucks. Both drivers were taken to Concord Hospital.

One driver was airlifted later to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for further treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries, Lt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department said Tuesday. The driver, he said, was still alive, but the department had no updates concerning his condition.

“A portion of Clinton Street remained closed for several hours as investigators collected evidence,” Yerkes said. “The investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains open and ongoing.”

A Concord Regional Crimeline request for witnesses and tips was issued on Tuesday.
