Concord Sweeps Super Quad; Exeter Wins Nashua Tourney: New Hampshire Wrestling Results

Bedford places 3rd while Milford was 8th at Hall of Fame event; Portsmouth 4th and Manchester West 6th at Winnisquam Winter Classic.

CONCORD, NH — Concord High School’s Crimson Tide wrestling team hosted a “super quad” with Goffstown High School, Manchester Central, Manchester Memorial, Pinkerton Academy, and Winnacunnet, and swept all five teams as well as an exhibition match against a single wrestler from Trinity, who was wrestling with Central.

The Crimson Tide won tight matches against the Astros, 46 to 27, the Grizzlies, 50 to 27, and the Warriors, 56 to 21. Concord bested Central, 84 to -1, with a foul for unsportsmanlike conduct, and Memorial, 71 to 11. The win against the single wrestler from Trinity gave Concord 3 more points. Pinkerton won against Goffstown, both Manchester schools, Winnacunnet, and the Trinity wrestler.
