Concord Woman Died Of ‘Carbon Monoxide Toxicity, Thermal Injuries’ During Manchester Street Apartment Fire

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Concord who died in a fire at an apartment building on Manchester Street on July 15 has been identified.

Darlene Phillips, 62, died during the fire, according to the New Hampshire Fire Marshals’ Office, which is still investigating the cause of the fire. A public information officer for the department said the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined her cause of death was “carbon monoxide toxicity and thermal injuries,” and the manner was “accidental.”

The department said the investigation was “ongoing” and “no additional information” was available at this time.
