Concord's Summer Pool Schedule Tweaked: Update
Beginning Saturday, one pool will close on weekends while another pool will open on weekends for the duration of the summer.
CONCORD, NH — Concord Parks and Recreation is tweaking its pool schedule.
On Saturday, and through the rest of the summer, the Merrill Park Pool will be closed on weekends. Instead, on Saturdays and Sundays, the White Park Pool will be open. The Kimball Park Pool, one of the nicest pools in the city, however, remains closed, due to staffing issues.
Monday through Friday, pools at Keach, Merrill, Rolfe, and Rollins parks will be open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and again from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The pools also have morning and evening swim lessons.

On Saturday and Sunday, Keach, Rolfe, and Rollins parks will be open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The White Park Pool will be open from 10 to noon and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
All pools will close at 4 p.m. on July 4.

The department continues to work on recruiting additional lifeguards and interested applicants are encouraged to apply online.
