Conservation Officers: Reckless Driving Leads to ATV Accident in Hillsboro, Passenger Injured

HILLSBORO, NH - A 28-year-old man faces charges after an alleged reckless ATV maneuver resulted in an accident that injured his passenger on Saturday evening.
According to New Hampshire Fish and Game, the crash occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Kimball Hill Road. Hillsboro Police and a Conservation Officer responded to the scene after receiving a report of a single-vehicle accident.

The vehicle's weight pinned the hand of the passenger underneath. The passenger, whose identity was not released, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Concord Hospital for treatment.
After the UTV rolled, Johnson and others at the scene were able to flip the vehicle back onto its wheels. They then left the scene to seek help.

Conservation Officers determined that reckless operation was the primary cause of the crash. Johnson was issued a summons to appear in Hillsboro District Court.
